Description

Nidavellir: Idavoll is the exciting new expansion to the popular board game Nidavellir, designed by Serge Laget and released in 2022. This expansion is perfect for 2 to 5 players who are familiar with the base game and are looking for a new challenge. With a playtime of 45 minutes and normal complexity rules, players can dive right in and start exploring the new features. Idavoll introduces a second tavern that offers a variety of new cards, including Mythical Animals, Aesir, Valkyries, and Giants, which add a fresh layer of strategy to the game. These new card types bring unique effects and abilities to the table, allowing players to recruit powerful Gods, capture Dwarves with Giants, and earn victory points with Valkyries. Mythical Animals can be added to your army, each with its own special ability. The game mechanics, such as constrained bidding and card drafting, will feel familiar to fans of the base game, but the new expansion adds a thrilling twist. With its fantasy and mythology themes, Nidavellir: Idavoll is a must-play for fans of the series and new players alike, offering a fun and engaging experience that will keep you coming back for more.
