Odysseus

Friends and Communities with Odysseus

Description

Odysseus throws you straight into the mythic world of ancient Greece, where you and up to four friends (or a solo adventurer) race to piece together the legendary hero’s epic journey. In just 25 minutes you’ll be laying down tiles that form islands, seas, and hidden coves, turning a simple board into a living map of Odysseus’s winding route home. The rules are so lightweight you can have a quick run‑through before the pizza arrives, yet the tile‑placement choices keep everyone guessing which path will earn the most glory. Designed by Johannes Goupy and Matthieu Verdier, this 2026 release blends classic mythology vibes with a fresh, fast‑paced mechanic that feels both nostalgic and brand‑new. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a casual gamer looking for a breezy, thematic scramble, Odysseus delivers a handful of laughs, a dash of competition, and a satisfying sense of discovery every time the tiles click into place.
