Olympiade

Friends and Communities with Olympiade

Description

In Olympiade, 2 to 4 players go head to head in a thrilling competition, taking on the challenges of the Decathlon across two exciting days. Designed by renowned game designer Reiner Knizia and first published in 1992, this game is easy to learn and fun to play. Players roll special dice with red, green, and blue faces to determine their success in each of the 10 disciplines, from sprinting and distance running to jumping and throwing events. The twist is that each color on the dice corresponds to a specific type of event, so players need to strategize and hope for the right rolls to rack up points. As players compete in events like the 100m dash, long jump, and javelin throw, they'll need to balance their strengths and weaknesses to come out on top. With a playtime of just 60 minutes, Olympiade is a quick and exhilarating experience that's perfect for a fun night in with friends or family. Whether you're a sports fan or just love a good competition, Olympiade is a great choice for anyone looking for a lighthearted and entertaining board game. With its unique blend of luck and strategy, it's no wonder this game has stood the test of time since its original publication in 1992.
