Description

Get ready to enter the arena in OverDrive, a high-energy board game designed by Rob Burman and Matt Gilbert, where two players engage in a battle of wits and strategy. Published in 2021, this game is easy to learn, but don't be fooled - it's packed with exciting mechanics like dice rolling, grid movement, and card drafting. As a coach, you'll draft your team and face off in a series of intense matches, using powerful OverDrive moves to outmaneuver your opponent. With six different game modes to choose from, you'll need to stay on your toes and adapt your tactics to come out on top. The game is all about making the most of your team's abilities and seizing the initiative. On each turn, you'll activate one of your players and move them around the hexagon grid arena, trying to score points or knock out your opponent. The innovative tug of war scoring system means that the lead can quickly change hands, so you'll need to stay focused and make the most of every opportunity. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, OverDrive is the perfect game for a fun and competitive evening with a friend. Will you emerge victorious, or will your opponent outmaneuver you? There's only one way to find out - gather your team and get ready to OverDrive.
