Description

Get ready to step up to the pitch with Overs, a fast-paced card game that's all about outsmarting your opponents and scoring the most runs. Designed by Richard Woods and released in 2024, this game is perfect for cricket fans and newcomers alike, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it easy to dive right in. With support for 2 to 10 players, you can gather your friends and family for a fun and competitive game that's sure to entertain. In Overs, you'll take turns playing as the batter, choosing your attitude, and attempting to play the right shot against each of your opponent's deliveries. But be careful, as playing the wrong shot might result in the loss of a wicket, and losing too many wickets will end your innings early. The game mechanics of hand management and simulation make for a thrilling experience, as you'll need to strategically manage your cards to outmaneuver your opponents. You can play as individuals or team up with friends to take on the opposing side, making it a great option for larger groups. With playtime options ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, you can choose to play a quick game or a standard game, depending on your schedule and preferences. If you're feeling extra competitive, you can even play two games back to back and add the scores together to simulate a test match. Whether you're a cricket enthusiast or just looking for a fun and interactive game, Overs is a great choice. So gather your friends, shuffle the cards, and get ready to experience the excitement of cricket in a whole new way.
