Description

Pagan: Beyond the Palisades is an exciting expansion to the Pagan series, building on the core gameplay of Pagan: Fate of Roanoke. This game is designed for two players, who take on the roles of Witch and Witch hunter, engaging in a thrilling battle of wits and strategy. The Witch must secretly carry out a ritual of renaturation while avoiding detection by the Witch hunter, who is trying to expose and eliminate them. With a playtime of 45 to 75 minutes, this game offers a engaging and challenging experience for players familiar with board games, thanks to its normal complexity rules. As an expansion, Pagan: Beyond the Palisades introduces two new mechanics, Gloom and Cleanse, which add a fresh layer of depth to the game. The Witch player benefits from the Gloom resource, which symbolizes their connection to the land, while the Witch hunter must work to cleanse the village of this dark influence. With a range of actions and abilities at their disposal, including action points, area majority, and deck construction, players must use their skills and strategy to outmaneuver their opponent. Whether you're a fan of adventure, fantasy, or deduction games, Pagan: Beyond the Palisades offers a unique and captivating experience that will keep you coming back for more.
