Description

Panzer Grenadier: Airborne is a thrilling wargame that drops you into the chaos of Normandy just after D-Day. As a two-player game, you'll take on the role of either the American 101 Airborne or the German Grenadiers, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. With a playtime of around 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the action, navigating the challenges of platoon-level combat. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to anyone familiar with board games, so you can dive right in and start strategizing. The game's mechanics are built around a hexagon grid and modular board, with dice rolling determining the outcomes of combat and other actions. You'll activate your infantry and vehicle platoons using Command Units, then move, shoot, and fight in close combat. With around 165 counters and a beautifully illustrated map board, the game's components are as visually stunning as they are functional. Designed by Michael Bennighof and Brian L. Knipple, Panzer Grenadier: Airborne has been a classic of the wargame genre since its release in 2001. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a new challenge, this game is sure to deliver hours of intense and engaging gameplay.
