Description
In the land of Varisia, dark magic and evil forces are stirring, threatening the peaceful town of Sandpoint. The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords - Base Set lets 1 to 4 players embark on a cooperative campaign to strike back against these evils. Each player takes on the role of a fantasy character, such as a rogue or wizard, with unique skills and proficiencies represented by cards in their deck. As players navigate the game, they can acquire allies, spells, weapons, and other items to aid them in their quest. The goal is to find and defeat a villain before time runs out, with characters growing stronger after each game and adding new gear and magic to their decks.
