Professor Tempus

Friends and Communities with Professor Tempus

Description

Get ready to turn back the clock with Professor Tempus, a fast-paced card game that's all about collecting hourglasses. In this super-dynamic game, 2 to 5 players compete to see who can accumulate the most hourglasses by playing cards in ascending or descending order. The twist is that three sets of cards are played simultaneously, and the cards in each set are kept by the player who last laid a card on that set at the end of each round. This means that the sets change hands constantly, keeping you on your toes as you try to outmaneuver your opponents. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Professor Tempus is easy to learn but challenging to master. Designed by Wilfried Lepuschitz and Arno Steinwender, this 2013 game is perfect for a quick game night with friends or family. A typical game lasts just 20 minutes, making it a great option for a casual gathering or a warm-up for a longer gaming session. As you play, you'll need to think strategically and make tactical decisions to come out on top. Will you be the one to save time and emerge victorious, or will your opponents outplay you? There's only one way to find out - give Professor Tempus a try and see who will be the ultimate time-keeper.
