Description

Proliferation is a thrilling tabletop card game where 2 to 9 players engage in a high-stakes game of nuclear strategy. Designed by Michael Mooney and published in 2023, this game challenges players to build their country's economy, conduct secret missions, and sabotage their adversaries while stockpiling nuclear weapons. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, players will need to balance their resources and make strategic decisions to outmaneuver their opponents. The game rules are of normal complexity, making it accessible to those familiar with board games. As players take on the role of a nuclear power, such as China, France, or the USA, they'll need to manage their hand of cards to expand their economy, forge alliances, and disrupt their enemies' plans. With the ability to play Mission Cards to dismantle opponents' nuclear arsenals and deploy Peacekeepers to maintain the balance of power, the game is full of twists and turns. The goal is to be the last country standing, either by meeting your country's Consolidation Conditions or surviving an all-out nuclear war. With its unique blend of hand management and player elimination mechanics, Proliferation is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you navigate the complex world of nuclear strategy.
