Designed by Andreas Seyfarth, this 2019 expansion pack combines two previously released expansions into one, offering a plethora of new gameplay possibilities. With a playtime of 90 minutes, 2 to 5 players can dive into the world of city building, economic management, and farming, all while navigating the variable phase order that adds a thrilling layer of strategy to the game. The New Buildings expansion introduces a range of new structures, including the Aqueduct, Forest House, and Library, which can be seamlessly integrated into the base game. Meanwhile, The Nobles expansion brings a new level of depth to the game, with tokens that can be used like colonists, but with unique properties depending on whether they're occupied by nobles or colonists. This adds a fascinating dynamic to the gameplay, as players must carefully consider how to utilize these new buildings and tokens to maximize their chances of success. With its normal complexity level, this expansion is perfect for board game enthusiasts looking to breathe new life into their Puerto Rico experience.
