The game starts with each player taking turns placing one pyramid at a time, with the second player's pyramid needing to touch an edge or corner of the first player's pyramid. Play continues in this way until one player achieves the winning goal or all 24 pyramids have been played. If neither player has won by then, the game takes a interesting twist: players start removing and replacing one of their already placed pyramids on each turn, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.
