Race! Formula 90

Friends and Communities with Race! Formula 90

Description

Get ready to put the pedal to the metal with the RF90 Series Championship expansion for the popular board game Race Formula 90. This first expansion module brings a whole new level of excitement to the game, introducing two new tracks on a double-sided game board, including the legendary Spa Francorchamps and Monaco circuits. With the addition of 35 fully illustrated Spa cards and 36 fully illustrated Monaco cards, players will experience the thrill of racing on these iconic tracks like never before. One of the unique features of this expansion is the introduction of Extreme Trajectories, a special set of rules that rewards players for taking risks and driving aggressively, especially when navigating the fast corners of Spa Francorchamps. This adds a new layer of strategy to the game, as players will need to balance the need for speed with the risk of spinning out or losing control. The expansion also includes dedicated rules for team racing, allowing players to join forces with their friends or compete against robot opponents, adding a new level of variety and replayability to the game. And for those who want to experience the ultimate racing challenge, the Championship rules provide a comprehensive framework for competing in a series of races, testing players' skills and strategy over multiple events. With the ability to play with 2 to 6 players and a playtime of around 120 minutes, the RF90 Series Championship expansion offers a fun and exciting experience for racing fans and board game enthusiasts alike. While the game rules may take some time to learn, the end result is well worth the effort, providing hours of thrilling racing action and competition. As an expansion to the original Race Formula 90 game, this module requires the base game to play, but for fans of the series, it's a must-have addition that takes the game to the next level. Published in 2014 and designed by Alessandro Lala and Giuseppe Rossini, this expansion is a great example of how to take an already great game and make it even better.
