Description

In Ragnarok: Heavy Metal Combat in the Viking Age, the end of the world as the Vikings knew it has arrived, and it's up to you and your opponent to lead your war clan to survival and potentially even godhood. This game of strategy and epic storytelling throws you into a world where the gods are dead and the Nine Realms are in chaos. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be immersed in the action in no time, using a combination of action points, dice rolling, and simulation to outmaneuver your opponent. The game's mechanic of variable player powers means that each battle will be unique, and you'll need to adapt your strategy to succeed. As you play through the game, which can last anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, you'll have the chance to develop your war clan, gaining new powers and recruiting creatures like dire wolves, dwarves, and even giants to join your fight. With its richly detailed world inspired by Viking mythology and medieval fantasy, Ragnarok is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Designed by Tim Korklewski and published in 2019, this base game has already spawned expansions like The Abyss and The Vanir, offering even more opportunities for adventure and combat. Whether you're a fan of miniatures, wargames, or just great storytelling, Ragnarok has something to offer, so gather your clan and get ready to forge your own legend.
