In the game Ranking, 3 to 5 players get to show off their guessing skills and sense of humor in a competition that's all about predicting what people like. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to everyone. Designed by Stefan Dorra and Ralf zur Linde, Ranking has been entertaining players since its release in 2010. Each player starts with a set of picture tiles, and the goal is to get your tile to the top of the ranking by guessing which items best fit a given theme, such as "Women like it..." or "Men hate it...". The gameplay is all about bluffing, deduction, and a bit of storytelling. Players secretly choose a tile that they think fits the theme, and then the tiles are mixed up with random ones from the stock. The tiles are then placed on the board, and players take turns comparing two tiles in the same row, trying to convince the others that one is more fitting than the other. For example, you might say "I think women like lipstick more than a car" and move the lipstick tile up and the car tile down. The other players can then try to guess which tile belongs to which player, and points are awarded based on the final ranking of the tiles. But beware, if another player correctly guesses which tile is yours, you'll lose points. The game is full of humor and unexpected twists, as players try to outguess and outmaneuver each other. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, it's a quick and fun game that's perfect for a casual game night or a party. The first player to score 15 points wins the game and becomes the RanKING.
