Rare Species

Friends and Communities with Rare Species

Description

Rare Species is a classic board game from 1985 that's all about matching and collecting endangered animal species. Designed for 2 to 4 players, this simple yet engaging game is easy to learn and fun to play. The goal is to collect breeding pairs of rare animals, with each player trying to outdo the others by gathering the most pairs in their conservation park. The game board features a circular track where players move their pieces, trying to land next to male animal cards and then finding their matching female counterparts. As players roll the dice and move around the board, they'll need to use their memory to recall which female cards have been turned over and which ones might match the male cards. With the ability to steal breeding females from other players' conservation parks, the game adds a fun twist of strategy and social interaction. The player with the most breeding pairs at the end of the game wins, making Rare Species a fun and educational experience that's perfect for families and animal lovers alike. With its unique blend of memory, set collection, and roll-and-move mechanics, Rare Species is a game that will keep you coming back for more.
