Description

In Republic of Virtue, you and your opponent take on the roles of French politicians navigating the treacherous landscape of the Reign of Terror. This quick and easy-to-learn game is designed for 2 players and can be played in just 15 to 30 minutes. With a simple set of rules, you'll be immersed in the action from the start, buying and playing cards to build your tableau and outmaneuver your opponent. As you buy cards from the market, you'll need to strategically decide which cards to play and when to use them to your advantage. But beware - Crisis cards can upset your plans, purging cards from your tableau and scoring points. The game ends when one player reaches 21 points or the third Crisis card is triggered, sending both players to the guillotine in the Thermidorian Reaction. Will you emerge victorious, or will you lose your head in the chaos of the Revolution?
