Description
In the ancient Greek island of Rhodes, wealth and prosperity are within reach. Players take on the role of merchants and farmers, navigating the dynamic market system triggered by ships sailing into the harbor. The prices of goods like olives, grapes, and grain fluctuate, creating opportunities for smart merchants to profit and farmers to receive income. With high interaction and multiple tactical options, players must make strategic decisions about when to sell their goods or store them for future rounds. As players expand their lands, develop skills, and create monopolies, the game becomes a thrilling challenge. With 2 to 5 players competing over 60 to 90 minutes, Rhodes offers a unique blend of economic and city-building strategies. Designed by Pieter Boots, this 2016 game is perfect for those familiar with board games, offering a normal level of complexity and a wealth of exciting possibilities.
