Description
Rising for the Throne is a fun and strategic game where you lead one of six unique clans to victory. With simple rules that can be learned quickly, you'll be throwing dice and gathering resources in no time to build your army and outmaneuver your opponents. Each clan has its own strengths, from the political prowess of Gryphonn to the magical abilities of Valakiem, so choose wisely and use your clan's abilities to gain an advantage. As you recruit troops and earn victory points, keep an eye on your enemies and be prepared for unexpected game events like storms, floods, and plagues that can either hinder or help your progress. With 40 to 50 minutes of playtime, Rising for the Throne is a great game for 2 to 6 players looking for a medieval fantasy adventure with a mix of deck, bag, and pool building and dice rolling mechanics.
