Description

Get ready to blast off into the cosmos with Rocket Race, a classic game of intergalactic competition. Designed by Jim Keifer and first published in 1988, this simple yet thrilling game is perfect for two players looking for a quick and exciting challenge. The goal is straightforward: be the first to race your rocket from your home planet, either Earth or Mars, to Pluto and back. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, you can fit in a game or two on a lazy afternoon or a busy evening. The game mechanics are easy to learn, with players taking turns spinning one of two spinners to determine how many spaces they can move their marker. The A spinner requires a fuel unit to use, but can send you soaring across the board, while the B spinner is a more cautious option, allowing you to drift just 0 or 1 space. But watch out for the Explosion spinner, which can leave you stranded without fuel. With its unique blend of racing and science fiction elements, Rocket Race is a fun and unpredictable game that's out of this world. Whether you're a fan of retro games or just looking for a fun and fast-paced challenge, Rocket Race is the perfect choice for a fun and exciting gaming experience.
