Description

Rommel's Obsession is a World War II wargame that drops you into the midst of one of the most pivotal battles of the war. Designed by Jim Krohn, this game for two players puts you in the shoes of the commanders who clashed in the desert, with the goal of outmaneuvering your opponent and emerging victorious. The rules are easy to learn, but the gameplay is challenging and rewarding, with a unique blend of dice rolling, secret unit deployment, and simulation mechanics that will keep you on your toes. As you navigate the hexagon grid, you'll need to balance aggression with caution, using your units to outflank and outmaneuver your opponent. The game is designed to simulate the real-life battle, with each turn representing two days of fighting. The Axis forces have superior units, but the Commonwealth can replace losses more easily, so you'll need to think strategically about how to use your resources. With a playtime of around 120 minutes, Rommel's Obsession is a game that will challenge and engage you, and leave you feeling like a true military commander. Whether you're a seasoned wargamer or just looking for a new challenge, this game is sure to deliver.
