Description

Get ready to take your gaming experience to new heights with Sandbag, the latest trick-taking game from renowned designer Ted Alspach, released in 2024. In this exciting game, 3 to 6 players compete to outmaneuver each other, and the goal is to have the lowest score at the end. With easy-to-learn rules, Sandbag is perfect for gamers of all levels, and its short playtime of 30 minutes makes it an ideal addition to any game night. In Sandbag, players must navigate a delicate balance of avoiding tricks, manipulating trump, and reconfiguring their hand of cards. Each round, players configure their basket with face-up cards, which determines the trump suit, and then try to sluff off unwanted tricks by playing sandbags or their opponents' face-up cards. With five rocket cards worth negative points in play, the stakes are high, and players must strategically win these cards while avoiding the sandbag cards to emerge victorious. As a highly interactive game, Sandbag shines with higher player counts, making it a great choice for larger groups of friends and family looking for a fun and challenging experience.
