Description
Santa Fe is a train-themed board game designed by Alan R. Moon, where 2 to 5 players compete to build railroad networks across the map. The game is easy to learn, and a typical play session lasts around 70 minutes. Players take turns playing cards and laying track, trying to connect cities and earn points. The twist is that each city has a numerical value, and the more railroads connected to it, the higher the points awarded. As players build their networks, they can use special cards like Double Turn Cards to gain an advantage, and Branch Line Cards to extend their railroads. The game ends when all track pieces have been played, and the player with the most points wins, earned from the cities they've connected and the money they've collected. With its simple rules and strategic depth, Santa Fe is a fun and engaging game for train enthusiasts and board game fans alike.
