Description

Sauerbaum is a classic cooperative board game that's all about working together to save a tree from the devastating effects of acid rain. Designed by Johannes Tranelis and first published in 1986, this game is a dice-based movement game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. Players take on the role of guardians of the tree, navigating their pawns through a grid of movement spaces on the board while trying to flick off tokens representing acid rain. The twist is that the acid rain is constantly accumulating, so players must work together to clear the board before it's too late. With support for 3 to 7 players and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Sauerbaum is a great option for groups of friends or family members looking for a fun and interactive game to play together. The cooperative gameplay encourages discussion and teamwork, as players must openly discuss their options and work together to defeat the acid rain. The level of difficulty can be adjusted by varying the number of acid raindrops that fall onto the tree, making it accessible to players of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a fun and environmentally themed game, Sauerbaum is a great choice that's sure to provide hours of entertainment.
