Description
Scharfe Schoten, which translates to "Hot Peppers", is a trick-taking game that's all about predicting the colors you'll get the most or least tricks of. With 3 to 4 players, you'll need to think strategically to come out on top. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and each round only takes about 30 minutes to play. In Scharfe Schoten, you'll have more information than usual thanks to the colored backs of the cards, but that doesn't mean it's a cakewalk. You'll need to follow suit, even with special trump cards, and navigate the common supply of cards that can either help or hinder your progress. The player who gets closest to their predictions wins, so it's all about finding the right balance of risk and strategy. Designed by Arve D. Fühler and published in 2014, Scharfe Schoten is a fun and challenging card game that's sure to spice up your game nights.
