Description
Get ready to rumble in Scrapyard Wars, a game where you'll assemble robots from scrap parts and pit them against each other in a battle for victory. Inspired by TV shows like Scrapheap Challenge and Junkyard Wars, this game lets you take on the role of a scrapyard mastermind, building and battling your way to the top. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Scrapyard Wars is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's a game that requires strategy and skill to win. In Scrapyard Wars, you'll start by collecting scrap parts, which you can use to build and upgrade your robots. Each robot can hold up to four VP tiles, which are worth 1-3 victory points each, and the longer your robot survives, the more VPs it will earn. But beware - other players will be gunning for your robot, and if it's destroyed, you'll lose the VPs it had accumulated. With 2-6 players, the game becomes a delicate balance of risk and reward, as you weigh the benefits of building a powerful robot against the danger of it being targeted by your opponents. Designed by Steve Sisk, Scrapyard Wars is a unique take on the combat arena style game, where the goal is to build the best robots and keep them alive long enough to earn the most VPs. The game ends when all the parts tiles have been taken, and the player with the most VPs is declared the winner. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, Scrapyard Wars is a game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends or family. So gather your scrap, build your robots, and get ready to join the Scrapyard Wars - will you emerge victorious, or will your robots end up on the scrapheap?
