Description

Get ready for more swashbuckling fun with Scurvy, the exciting expansion to the popular game Scuttle. Designed by Peter C. Hayward and released in 2016, this game is perfect for 1 to 5 players looking for a quick and easy-to-learn pirate-themed adventure. With a playtime of just 5 to 10 minutes, you can dive into the world of scurvy pirates and start having fun right away. The rules are easy to pick up, making it a great option for families or casual gamers. As you set sail, you'll encounter eight different diseases, each with its own unique ability that affects all players. From Pox to Piratitis, these diseases will throw a wrench into your plans and force you to think on your feet. At the start of the game, one disease card is put into play, and the rest are shuffled into the deck. As you draw new cards, the diseases will start to pile up, and you'll need to decide when to take action to get rid of them. The only way to clear the diseases is to shuffle them all back into the deck, which can be a gamble, but sometimes it's the best way to get ahead. With its simple yet engaging gameplay, Scurvy is a great addition to the Scuttle series. It's a fun and unpredictable expansion that will keep you on your toes as you navigate the high seas and try to outmaneuver your opponents. Whether you're a seasoned pirate or just starting out, Scurvy is a great way to add some excitement to your gaming sessions. So gather your crew and get ready to set sail for some scurvy fun – just be careful not to catch anything along the way.
