Description

Stella Nova: Journey of the Magi is a thrilling race game where 3 to 6 players take on the role of wise men, competing to be the first to reach the Christ child in Bethlehem with the three precious gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The game is set in ancient times, with players navigating the dangers of caravan trails from the Far East to Bethlehem. Each roll of the dice represents a day in the journey, and players must carefully manage their supplies, using Supply Cards to ensure they have enough food and water to reach the next city or oasis. As players journey through the desert and mountains, they'll encounter obstacles like sand storms, robber bands, and hidden spies, which can be overcome with the right Equipment Cards. These cards can be obtained by answering trivia questions on history, geography, and biblical scriptures, making Stella Nova a great party game that's both fun and educational. With its simple rules and 90-minute playtime, this game is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a fun and challenging experience. Players will need to strategize and make tough decisions about which path to take, what resources to keep, and what to leave behind, all while racing to be the first to reach their destination and claim victory.
