Description

Get ready to Strive in the Squares, a thrilling abstract strategy game designed by Kazutaka Yanagawa, released in 2023. In this game, two players compete to dominate the center of a 5x5 grid, and the rules are so simple that you can dive right in. The goal is to place three of your tiles in the central row, but it's not as easy as it sounds. With a playtime of just 15 to 30 minutes, you'll need to think strategically and make the most of your turns. As you take turns placing, moving, or using the special powers of your tiles, you'll need to keep in mind the total value of tiles in each row, which is limited to 8. The double-sided tiles add an extra layer of excitement, as you won't know what's on the back of your opponent's tile until it's flipped. With its unique blend of deck construction and tile placement mechanics, Strive in the Squares is a game that will challenge your math skills and strategic thinking. Whether you're a fan of abstract strategy games or just looking for a fun and quick challenge, Strive in the Squares is the perfect game to add to your collection.
