Description
In Stronghold, players take on opposing roles, with one defending a medieval castle and the other trying to breach its walls as quickly as possible. The game is a desperate fight, with the defender earning victory points for every turn they manage to hold out. The game board represents the stronghold and its surroundings, where the invader's forces gather and launch their attacks. The invader has a seemingly endless army at their disposal, and can build war machines, train soldiers, and even use dark magic to try and break through the castle walls. Meanwhile, the defender must use their limited resources to repair walls, build cannons, and train their own soldiers to hold off the invaders. With complex rules and multiple mechanics, Stronghold is a challenging and engaging game for 2 to 4 players, offering 120 minutes of intense medieval combat.
