With new tile types and a fresh set of challenges, you'll need to work together with your fellow players to extract the mysterious artifact and make it out alive. In Typhaon Wakes, you can play with 1 to 7 players, and games typically last around 60 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, but the gameplay is full of excitement and tension. One of the most interesting features of this expansion is the new one vs many mode, where one player takes on the role of the spirit of the mountain, Typhaon. Using a light handbuilding mechanic, this player controls the resolution of hazards at the end of each explorer player's turn, giving them a sense of control over the evil forces that are working against the other players.
