Description
In Subtext, a party game designed by Wolfgang Warsch, players try to communicate with each other through clever hints and drawings. The game is simple to learn and can be explained quickly, making it easy to jump into a game with 4 to 8 players. Each round, one player is the dealer, who looks at their word, shuffles it into the other players' cards, and then draws a picture to hint at the word. The goal is to be vague enough to avoid giving away the word to the other players, while still conveying the message to the player who has the same word. Players then guess who they think has the same word as the dealer, and points are awarded based on the number of incorrect guesses. With playtime lasting 20 to 40 minutes, Subtext is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a group of friends looking for a quick and entertaining game night experience.
