Description

In the game of Takamatsu, published in 2014 by game designer Martin Schlegel, excitement fills the air as 2 to 5 players compete to assign the Han of Takamatsu. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that quickly give way to complex and exciting gameplay. Players take on the role of Daimyos, directing their Samurai through a maze-like palace with two circular paths that merge and separate. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Takamatsu is a fast-paced game of conflict and cooperation, where players must strategically place their Samurai in their own rooms to earn points. As players navigate the palace, they must use their Samurai to their advantage, while also considering the movements of their opponents. With the use of action queue and worker placement mechanics, players can move their Samurai clockwise through the rooms, collecting scoring cards and adjusting their scoring markers. The game requires strategic thinking and planning, as players must balance their own goals with the need to cooperate with their opponents. With its unique blend of competition and cooperation, Takamatsu is a thrilling game that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end, when the player with the most points is declared the winner.
