Description

Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure with Talisman: City of Adventure, an expansion that takes the classic fantasy board game to new heights. Designed by Jervis Johnson and first published in 1994, this add-on brings fresh excitement to the original Talisman game, allowing 1 to 8 players to explore two new realms: the city realm of Emperor and the forest realm of the Wraith Lord. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but the gameplay is complex enough to keep seasoned veterans engaged for hours on end - with play sessions lasting around 240 minutes. As you venture into these new worlds, you'll encounter a plethora of challenges, enemies, treasures, and followers, all detailed in two new sets of adventure cards. The expansion also introduces six new characters, each beautifully represented by a detailed plastic Citadel miniature. With these new characters and board sections, you'll experience the game in a whole new way, using dice rolling, role-playing, and variable player powers to navigate the realms and overcome obstacles. Whether you're exploring the city's bustling streets or delving into the dark forest, every turn is full of surprises and opportunities for bravery and cunning. With its rich fantasy setting and engaging gameplay mechanics, Talisman: City of Adventure is the perfect addition to your Talisman collection. The expansion comes with a wealth of new content, including board sections, character cards, and adventure cards, all designed to enhance your overall gaming experience. As part of the Talisman series published by Games Workshop Ltd., this expansion is a must-have for fans of the original game, offering countless hours of thrilling adventure and exploration. So gather your friends, grab your dice, and get ready to enter the City of Adventure - a realm of wonder and danger awaits.
