Description

Get ready to shake things up in the world of Terrible Monster with the Desperation expansion, designed by Shun Taguchi and published in 2016. This expansion is all about adding a fresh layer of excitement to the original game, and it does so with just twelve simple yet powerful cards. The new monster and spells can be easily mixed into your existing game, but the real game-changer is the introduction of heroes with unique abilities that can be used in place of playing a card. These abilities are a total wildcard, and the best part is that they can't be countered by counter tokens, giving players a whole new level of strategic freedom. With a playtime of just 5 to 10 minutes and incredibly simple rules, Terrible Monster: Desperation is the perfect addition to your gaming sessions. Designed for 2 players, this expansion builds on the hand management and variable player powers that made the original game so much fun, and the new hero abilities take it to a whole new level. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Terrible Monster or just looking to mix things up, Desperation is a great way to breathe new life into your gameplay experience. So why not give it a try and see what kind of monstrous mayhem you can unleash?
