Description

The Acts: Letters from Rome is an exciting expansion that brings new strategies and adventures to the original game. With its simple and easy-to-explain rules, 2 to 4 players can dive into the world of ancient Rome, exploring new regions and spreading the gospel message. As a worker placement game, players will navigate multiple paths to victory, collecting coins, epistles, and tithes from their churches to aid them in their mission. The game's accessibility is one of its strongest features, requiring no prior knowledge of the Bible to play and enjoy. In Letters from Rome, players will have the opportunity to travel to Italia, a new region that offers fresh challenges and opportunities. With the introduction of epistles, players can earn immediate rewards and work towards set collection end-game bonuses. Coins can be used to book passage to Rome, enlarge churches, and care for the crowds, but beware - hoarding coins can lead to corruption, causing players to lose believers over time. The game's designer, Peter Schultz, has crafted an engaging experience that remains true to the Bible while being enjoyable for players of all backgrounds. As an expansion to the base game, The Acts, Letters from Rome builds upon the existing game mechanics, introducing new layers of complexity and depth. With a playtime of 75 to 90 minutes, The Acts: Letters from Rome offers a substantial and immersive gaming experience. Released in 2024, this expansion is compatible with both the first edition and deluxe edition of the base game, making it easy for fans to integrate into their existing game. As players spread the gospel message from Judea to the Roman Empire, they'll encounter new challenges and opportunities, making each game a unique and exciting experience. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the series, The Acts: Letters from Rome is a great way to explore the world of ancient Rome and experience the thrill of sharing the gospel message in a fun and interactive way.
