The Big Book of Board Games

Description

The Big Book of Board Games is a unique and fascinating find, especially considering it was first published back in 1979. Despite being called a game, it doesn't actually require any players, and there's no real playtime to speak of, which might seem a bit strange at first. However, this is because The Big Book of Board Games is more of a collection or a resource, rather than a traditional game you'd play with friends. The rules are incredibly simple, making it accessible to anyone who picks it up. As an abstract strategy game, The Big Book of Board Games features mechanics like point to point movement, roll or spin and move, which are usually found in more complex games. But don't let that fool you - this book is all about exploring the world of board games in a more laid-back way. With its vintage charm and simple concept, The Big Book of Board Games is perfect for those who love board games and are looking for something a bit different. It's a great way to learn about classic games and strategies, and its abstract nature makes it a great resource for anyone interested in game design or theory.
