Description
You've managed to escape the hostile alien ship that killed the captain, but your relief is short-lived. Now you're drifting through an asteroid field, pursued by the aliens and with a rogue asteroid having knocked your Jump Core offline. Your ship is at the mercy of the void, and it's up to you and your crew to come up with a new strategy to survive. With the asteroid field protecting you from the alien threat, you've got some breathing room, but you know it won't last forever. You've got to decide whether to focus on getting the Jump Core back online or try to navigate through the treacherous field. As you set out on this new mission, you'll face even more challenges than before. The new alerts deck is packed with fresh horrors to throw at your crew, making it more difficult than ever to emerge victorious. But you're not going in blind - you and your crew have learned some valuable lessons since your last mission, and you'll be able to draw on new veteran abilities to aid you in your quest. Some of you might take on leadership roles, like Acting Captain, while others might develop specialist skills, such as becoming a Sciengineer. You'll also have access to a couple of new battle plans that you didn't discover during the initial attack, which should make your job a little easier. The Captain Is Dead: Episode 2 – Adrift is a cooperative game for 2 to 7 players, and with its easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right in and start playing. Designed by JT Smith, this expansion to the original game offers a fresh and exciting challenge that'll keep you on the edge of your seat for 60 to 90 minutes. With variable player powers and a healthy dose of science fiction excitement, you'll need to work together with your crew to overcome the odds and make it out of the asteroid field alive. Will you be able to get your ship back online and escape the aliens, or will you succumb to the dangers of the void? There's only one way to find out.
