Friends and Communities with The Cat
Description
In The Cat, players try to change the moods of their cats quickly via simultaneous card play, which can get pretty chaotic. The goal is to have only cards of a single mood in each stack, and with thirteen different moods to collect, it's not as easy as it sounds. Each player starts with three or four stacks of four cards, depending on the number of players, and then it's a mad dash to collect matching moods. Players simultaneously exchange one card from their stacks with a card from the center of the table, trying to collect four identical cards in each stack. The first player to succeed shouts "Stop!" to end the round, scoring a bonus point if they're correct. The game is simple to learn, but tricky to master, and with playtime lasting around 20 minutes, it's a great way to spend an evening with friends.
