Description

In The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Trouble in Tharbad, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure with 1 to 2 players, navigating the ancient, ruined city of Tharbad in a quest to uncover valuable information to aid in the fight against the Dark Lord of Mordor. With a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, you'll have ample opportunity to delve into the world of Middle-earth, battling Orcs, slipping through abandoned streets, and evading spies from Mordor. As a cooperative game, you'll work together with your fellow player to help the Dwarf Nalir extricate himself from a precarious situation, all while keeping him alive to ensure the success of your mission. As you explore the city, you'll encounter new challenges and opportunities, including the introduction of a new Silvan hero and player cards that support the Silvan and Gondor traits. With a normal level of complexity, this expansion is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and its variable player powers and hand management mechanics will keep you on your toes. Published in 2014 and designed by Caleb Grace and MJ Newman, The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Trouble in Tharbad is a must-play for fans of the series and fantasy enthusiasts alike, offering a unique and engaging experience that will leave you eager for more.
