Description

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Decks: On the Doorstep is an exciting expansion that lets you revisit your favorite scenarios with a dark and thrilling twist. Designed for 1 to 2 players, this game is perfect for those who enjoy a challenge and are familiar with board games. With a playtime of 60 minutes, you'll embark on a nightmarish journey through familiar territory, but with new and unexpected surprises that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game's normal complexity makes it easy to learn for those who have played board games before, and its cooperative gameplay and variable player powers add a fun and dynamic element to the experience. As an expansion to The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game and The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Hobbit: On the Doorstep, this Nightmare Deck set introduces new, alternate encounter cards that reshape the encounter deck and bring a fresh level of difficulty to the game. With three twenty-card Nightmare Decks, one for each of the three scenarios from On the Doorstep, you'll face deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises than ever before. Published in 2014 and designed by Caleb Grace, this expansion is a must-have for fans of the series and anyone looking to add some excitement and challenge to their gameplay.
