Description

The Secret Adventures of The Old Hellfire Club is a hilarious party game where 2 to 8 players take on the roles of down-on-their-luck members of a secret society, trying to impress patrons in Old London Town's shadiest public houses with tales of their adventures. With easy-to-learn rules, players draw cards for inspiration and weave an elaborate story, trying to outdo each other for pennies. As the competition heats up, so do the exaggerations and lies, but beware - other players can challenge your story at any time, revealing your embellishments and stealing the rewards. This storytelling card game, designed by Jamie Frew and published in 2020, combines push-your-luck and humor elements for a thrilling experience. With a playtime of just 30 to 75 minutes, it's perfect for a fun night in with friends. The game's 100 Boast cards, featuring illustrations from original Victorian era masterpieces, add a touch of authenticity to the game's melodramatic themes, making for a wildly entertaining experience.
