The Shakespeare Game

Friends and Communities with The Shakespeare Game

Description

Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure through Elizabethan England with The Shakespeare Game, a fun and interactive board game designed for 2 to 5 players. This game is perfect for families and friends looking for a screen-free experience that's both entertaining and educational. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be navigating the streets of London in no time, collecting performance cards and putting on plays to earn your way to fame and fortune. As you journey from Stratford to London, you'll absorb details about Shakespeare's life and plays, and even get to use your knowledge to play event cards that add drama and sabotage to the game. As you balance greed against speed, you'll need to decide whether to stage smaller performances for quick cash or wait for the right cards to create a smash hit. The goal is to be the first to earn 120 pounds, enough to buy Shakespeare's home, New Place, or finance a new theatre on the Southbank and stage a medley performance. With its beautiful illustrations and high-quality components, including a board map of Elizabethan London and 86 illustrated cards, The Shakespeare Game is a treasure to behold. Designed by Ellie Dix and Mandela Fernandez-Grandon, this game is a must-play for anyone looking for a unique and engaging experience that's full of excitement and learning.
