Description

The Shooting Party is a quick and thrilling solo card game that's all about strategy and a bit of luck. Designed by John Kean and published in 2016, this game is perfect for a short break, taking only 10 to 15 minutes to play. With simple rules that can be learned fast, you'll be immersed in the world of high society in no time. As a solo player, you'll manage your hand of cards, representing the guests at a prestigious shooting party, with the goal of getting alone with the most desirable ladies and relieving them of their jewels. As you navigate the complexities of etiquette, you'll use hand management and card drafting skills to reduce your hand to a single queen, scoring points and taking her jewels if available. The game mechanics of push your luck and set collection add an extra layer of excitement, as you balance risk and reward to maximize your score. With its unique blend of social intrigue and strategic gameplay, The Shooting Party is a fun and challenging experience that will keep you coming back for more. Will you emerge as a filthy rich scoundrel or an impecunious boor? There's only one way to find out - join the shooting party and see how your skills stack up.
