Description
The Toledo War is a card game that delves into a lesser-known piece of American history, the 1835-36 border dispute between Ohio and Michigan. This quick and easy-to-learn game is designed for 2 players and can be played in just 10 to 20 minutes. Each round, players use cards to gain political influence and achieve their state's goals, with the cards themselves based on real historical figures and events. As a game of conflict resolution and card play, The Toledo War offers a unique and engaging experience. With simple rules and a short playtime, it's perfect for a casual game night or a brief break from more complex games. Published in 2019 by game designer Amabel Holland, The Toledo War is a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and historic card game.
