Description
In the medieval world of Wickersby, you'll become a witch vying to be named the village crone in this worker placement and resource management game. With a modular board consisting of six locations, including the village green, lord's manor, and forge, you'll send out familiars to gather ingredients to cast spells on the villagers. Your goal is to complete Witch's Scheme cards, which are worth points and indicate the difficulty of the task. As you play, you'll have the opportunity to make villagers fall in love, turn them into frogs, or teleport them to different locations. With a variety of spells at your disposal, including Conjuring, Love, and Transformation, you'll need to cleverly use your resources to reach 13 points and be named the village crone. With gameplay lasting around 90 minutes, The Village Crone is a fun and strategic game for 1 to 6 players, perfect for those familiar with board games and looking for a new challenge.
