In Thiefdom, you'll join a secretive world of medieval thieves, vying to become the most skilled guild in the town of Bacharach. This strategic and interactive game is all about outsmarting your opponents and the city guards to get your hands on the most valuable loot. As a player, you'll control a team of three cunning thieves, each equipped with their own set of gear, from grappling hooks to smoke bombs, to help you evade detection and get the job done. As you navigate the modular board, which is made up of 8 double-printed town quarters, you'll need to plan your moves carefully to stay one step ahead of the competition. The game is divided into 6 nights, each consisting of a planning phase, action phase, and administration phase. During the planning phase, you'll secretly decide the order in which you want to move your thieves and other neutral figures, like city guards and nobles, and then reveal your plans at the same time as your opponents. The action phase is where the real fun begins, as you carry out your planned moves, trying to grab as much loot as possible while avoiding the guards. With 12 different equipment options and 36 unique guests to interact with, each game will present a unique puzzle to solve. With its normal complexity and familiar mechanics, like action queue and pick-up and deliver, Thiefdom is easy to learn, but challenging to master. Whether you're playing solo or with up to 3 friends, the game promises a thrilling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
