Description

This House Is Haunted is a thrilling and unpredictable exploration-based card game that combines cooperative play with a hint of deceit, making for a truly unique experience. In this game, your house becomes the game board, and you'll need to navigate its darkened rooms with flashlights in hand, avoiding terrifying curses and haunted rooms along the way. But beware, for not all is as it seems, and some of your friends may not be what they appear to be. With demonic spirits haunting your home, you'll need to work together to banish the evil presence, but be careful not to become possessed yourself. As you explore the haunted house, you'll draw cards that will aid or hinder your progress. There are six different types of cards to discover, including Seals, Blessings, Curses, Demon Marks, Hexes, and Haunting Cards. Haunting Cards can trap you in a room, forcing you to follow their instructions and terrorize any fellow players who dare to visit. Your goal is to collect enough Seal Cards and make it back to the safety of the Home Room, but beware of drawing too many Demon Mark Cards, as they can turn you to the dark side, making you a secret member of the demon's team. With 4 to 8 players taking part, this 60-minute game is easy to learn, but challenging to master, making it perfect for game nights with friends. Published in 2014 and designed by Gabriel Gomez, This House Is Haunted is a base game that offers a hilarious and spooky experience, blending elements of horror and humor. With its simple rules and immersive gameplay, this game is sure to provide hours of entertainment. And if you can't get enough, there's even an expansion available, This House Is Haunted: This Expansion is Haunted, which adds even more excitement to the game. So grab some friends, gather your courage, and get ready to explore the haunted house, but be warned, you never know who you can trust.
