Description
In the game of Toledo, players take on the challenge of crafting exquisite swords and delivering them to the prestigious Alcazar fortress. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can dive into this immersive experience, navigating the roads of Toledo to acquire steel and jewels from local dealers. Each player has five helpers at their disposal, which can be strategically placed on the map to gather resources and manufacture swords at the city's most renowned armorer. As players compete to create the most magnificent swords, they can also visit taverns to replenish their cards and explore the works of the famous painter El Greco. With a playtime of 45 to 60 minutes, Toledo offers a fun and engaging experience that combines hand management, tile placement, and worker placement mechanics. Designed by Martin Wallace and published in 2008, this game is a must-try for fans of strategy and Renaissance-era themes.
