Description

Get ready for a game of strategic fun with Touché, a classic abstract strategy game designed by Howard Wexler. First published in 1977, this game has been entertaining players for decades with its unique blend of memory and tile placement mechanics. In Touché, two players face off on a 5x5 grid, each with six pieces that contain magnetized metal disks with different colored sides. The goal is simple: get four disks of your color in a row, but the twist is that the magnetic strips under the board can flip the disks, changing the piece's allegiance to the other player. With easy-to-learn rules, Touché is a game that's quick to pick up but challenging to master. Each turn, you can choose to enter a new piece, move an existing one, or jump over an opponent's piece, all while trying to outmaneuver your opponent and adapt to the unpredictable magnetic forces at play. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Touché is the perfect game for a quick battle of wits, and its compact size makes it easy to take on the go. Whether you're a fan of abstract strategy games or just looking for a fun and challenging experience, Touché is a great choice, and its nomination for Spiel des Jahres in 1979 is a testament to its enduring appeal.
